Cyberpunk 2077 Address the Issues of Quality

The co-founder of CD PROJEKT RED Martin Iwinski offered a personal explanation of what the days leading up to the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 looked like, sharing the studio’s perspective on what happened.

In the video, he says that they had tested the game and didn't have some of the issues that console players have been experiencing. He also presented a path to redemption showing how often the updates will flow out addressing the issues that players have been experiencing.

This type of open communication directly with the consumer is mostly applauded by fans who still believe in the company and those that have played the game can see how great it is, or at the very least the potential for greatness once some of the bugs are ironed out.

PC users seem to have really benefited with the best version of the game while console players have not been so lucky.

While not all console users have experienced "game-breaking" bugs the obvious difference in quality and sporadic crashes have been frustrating for others.

The next generation free upgrade is due for release in the second half of 2021. The question is, will people still be playing Cyberpunk 2077 by then to really appreciate it or will the next shiny big thing be out on those new consoles?

Considering the lack of supply for those NexGen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X there's a good chance they will capture the second round of players by then.
