Finally being good a video game basketball is going to pay off!
PlayStation Australia has announced the launch of the NBA 2K21 ANZ Tournament taking place throughout August for PlayStation 4 gamers across Australia and New Zealand.
The tournament will have prizing opportunities for participation and for wins, with a prize pool of $10,000 AUD consisting of PS Store Gift Cards, NBA 2K22 virtual currency, NBA store vouchers, NBA League Pass, NBA merch and a chance to win a PlayStation 5!

Players can register HERE or via their PS4 console for the tournament from today*, with qualifiers kicking off from 16 August at 16:45 AEST. The first qualifier will take place on 16 August at 16:45 AEST, followed by a second qualifier on August 20 at 16:45 AEST, a third qualifier on 23 August at 16:45 AEST and a fourth qualifier on 26 August at 16:45 AEST.
Finals will then take place on 29 August.
Prizing will consist of PlayStation Store Gift Cards, ranging from $50 for 8th place in a qualifier all the way up to $2,500 for winning the final! Even better, all players that register and play in at least a qualifier will go into the draw to win a PlayStation 5 console!
*Registration for qualifiers is open from today until 16:45 AEST on 26 August. Final qualifier to take place 26 August. Only Australian & New Zealand NBA 2K21 owners with a PS4 and active PS Plus membership can participate to this tournament.
