First trailer for Beatles docuseries Get Back

Go back in time with The Beatles in new original docuseries ‘The Beatles: Get Back’

Disney+ have dropped the first trailer for an upcoming intimate docuseries about the Beatles named ‘The Beatles: Get Back’, which will take you back in time to 1969 featuring six hours of never-before-seen footage of the Fab Four captured by documentarian Michael Lindsay-Hogg.

The new series will consist of three instalments, directed by three-time Oscar-award winning filmmaker Peter Jackson (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy), and will explore the behind-the-scenes creative process and relationships between the four band members of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison as they race to complete what would be their 1970 album Let It Be.

The unseen footage, which was heavily cut down, will also show the band preparing for their first live concert in more than two years, as well as their iconic final live performance as a group before they split.

Producers of the series include Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon’s former wife Yoko Ono and George Harrison’s former wife Olivia Harrison.

‘The Beatles: Get Back’ will premiere over three days exclusively on Disney+ on November 25, 26 and 27.
