Name: Raya

Notes: Raya was handed into Just Cats as a newborn with no mumma in sight, so she was raised by her adoptive mum Raveena alongside her new found siblings in the shelter and then in our Foster Care Program.

Raya can be a little shy when getting to know new people, but once she feel comfortable she is a super sweet girl. Once she feels comfortable she likes to play with small balls or small soft toys that she can push around with her paws.

Raya seems to find 1 particular favourite place for snoozing and this is usually where you will find her anytime she isn’t playing.

Notes: Eyes that would melt butter! Ansett is an 11 week old snookums who's been hand-reared in foster care and is now ready to start a new life in his forever home. He's a total smooch, will take any opportunity for a cuddle, and is a bit of a shoulder kitten. He loves playing with other cats and toys, and enjoys a game of hide and seek (especially when there's a box or two involved).

Notes: Meet Michael, this weeks' Pet of the Week! A playful and curious kitten who loves exploring his surroundings. Llittle Michae loves playing with toys, especially little balls and objects he can chase. And every day when you come home he'll greet you with a soft meow and tail flicker - what a little gentleman!

Name: Freckles

Notes: Fabulous Freckles just wants to find a family to be friends forever.

 A happy and playful man, he knows sit and stay, and will lift his paw on command. He’s been an outside dog but is toilet trained.
His Beagle side means this outgoing and intelligent guy may do some garden landscaping if he doesn’t get enough exercise and stimulation, or if left alone for too long. Plenty of walks and enrichment toys should help curb his desire to dig.
He also has the Beagle nose for adventure and will need good fences to keep him at home. He needs some work on his canine etiquette but another dog in the house might be just the mentor he needs to improve his manners and keep him amused.
Freckles has lived with an older child. He’s not a fan of bathing and being groomed, typical for a teenage boy! He’s also not suited to a home with feathered or small furry friends.

Notes: Hello, I'm Billy. I'm a sweet, quiet little guinea pig looking for a new loving family to call my own. I can be a bit timid at first, but once I get to know you, I'm a very chilled out, friendly guy. I love to snuggle up in a cozy hidey hole and nibble on fresh veggies and hay. I also enjoy exploring my surroundings, but I prefer to take things at my own pace and often do the most exploring at night when everyone's gone to bed.

I may be shy, but I have a lot of love to give.I'm looking for a home where I'll have a quiet space to retreat to when I need it, and where my family will be understanding and patient with me as I adjust to my new home. Once I feel safe, I'll be more than happy to come out of my shell and show you just how loving and cuddly I can be.If you're looking for a gentle and loving companion who will bring joy to your life, I might just be the guinea pig for you. Notes:  Belgium arrived to Just Cats as an orphaned 2 week old kitten who was hand reared and raised in a loving foster home. This gorgeous boy had lots of complications with a bone infection (osteomyelitis) that has now healed well, however has left him with an unusual gait that can be noticed as he runs around. Belgium is a very sweet, but energetic little pocket rocket! He loves to climb and get in small spaces but will often hang around you when you're doing something as he is quite curious what humans are up to. When he's done running around or climbing, he will plonk himself on the floor and sprawl out, in the middle of the kitchen or generally where the main foot traffic is! He always wants to be noticed.

Belgium enjoys being picked up and given pats from his head down to his tail. When he is picked up, his purr engine starts! He enjoys being held like a baby and does't mind having tummy tickles while he relaxes in your arms.

Belgium will require a very special home - there is a risk of bone fracture as he is developing so we need an indoor home where he will be safe. A home without young children is important, too.
Belgium is a very confident but calm little fellow and will happily waltz into your home and settle in an instant! He is not bothered by much at all and would appreciate a home that dedicates a lot of playtime, cuddles and toys for him to keep him busy, particularly when no one is home. Notes: Teddy arrived to Just Cats as a surrender due to his brother being a bit of a bully and not getting along with him, this ended is an abscess which has healed well and he has been cleared to find the very best home! Teddy is a very playful boy and loves attention, he loves anything that rattles and will happily amuse himself for hours. He has had all of his vet work done and is now ready to find his forever home. He will be fine with other pets, and children to play with would be a bonus...Come and meet this beautiful Boy at our Longford Adoption Centre.

Notes: Lovely Willow is a 3 year old Mastiff X and an absolute delight to spend time with. As Willow was rescued from Devonports Council Pound, we don't have Willows past history, but she is a sweet girl who would love to join an active family who allows her indoors, take her out on lots of adventures, and spend lots of quality time with her. As all dogs do, she will need good fencing to keep her safe

Notes: Artemis is a sweet and loving cat. She recently finished raising a litter of gorgeous kittens, and has now been desexed and is ready to find her new home.

Artemis is a stunning looking cat with absolutely beautiful markings. She is a very outgoing and confident lady, who loves getting as much attention as you will give her.

Her confidence really shines through when meeting new people, and she is also great around children as well. While she adores people, Artemis would best suit being the only Queen of her castle where she can soak up all the love and attention herself.

Notes: Tahlia is a beautiful Staffy x Kelpie looking for her forever home at Dogs Homes of Tasmania, Launceston. Tahlia is housetrained, travels well in the car, will sit and love you endlessly for playtime and cuddles. She would enjoy a quieter home where any children are older, and with a doggie pal. She won't suit if your fencing isn't secure and you have livestock, cats and chickens she can access.
