It is being reported today that actor Elliot Page has filed for divorce from wife Emma Portner after three years of marriage.
TMZ broke the news that Page, the star of "Juno" had filed the required legal documents to seek "the dissolution of his marriage".
The pair released a joint statement in which they confirmed the news, "after much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce following our separation last summer."
"We have the utmost respect for each other and remain close friends."
Page, who recently came out as transgender male, wed the Canadian dancer and choreographer in a surprise wedding in 2018.
