Martha Stewart is used to popping up on all sorts of magazine covers, but this experience was totally new for her!
Proving age is just a number Martha who, at 81-years-old, has been featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
The feature makes Martha the oldest person to have graced the cover of the swimsuit issue, breaking the previous record set by then 74-year-old Maye Musk.
Stewart is no stranger to photoshoots, having had her start as a model at age 15 doing print and TV ads.
But despite her lengthy CV, Stewart says that the shoot was still a challenge, sharing with NBC’s Today Show just how strange the experience was.

“It’s odd to go to an island and get changed into nine different bathing suits in one day in front of all those people,” Martha said before admitting that the results “turned out okay”.
